Dana Lieberman is an Atlanta-based abstract artist whose layered paintings explore connection, memory, optimism, and the quiet beauty found in imperfect moments. Working primarily in acrylic, she incorporates charcoal, oil pastel, plaster, and found materials to create richly textured compositions that invite viewers to slow down and discover something new with each encounter.

Originally trained as a photographer, Dana earned a Bachelor of Arts in Photography from Manhattanville College in Purchase, New York. While studying abroad in England and traveling throughout Europe, she developed a deep appreciation for painting, drawing, and art history. Later, living in Santa Fe, New Mexico, she found lasting inspiration in the region's dramatic landscape and vibrant Native American artistic traditions.

After returning to Atlanta and raising a family, Dana built a successful career painting commissioned oil portraits before returning to the more intuitive and expressive process of abstraction. Today her work embraces spontaneity, allowing color, texture, and gesture to guide each composition while balancing intention with discovery.

Dana's paintings are held in private collections throughout the United States. She lives and works in Atlanta, Georgia, where she continues to explore the emotional language of abstraction through a practice rooted in curiosity, experimentation, and connection.
